Sooo what are YOU doing for new years eve??

No seriously, I am really interested. I’ve hated this holiday for about 7 years now, so I am always intrigued when people have plans set. Please share.

The perfect New Years eve to me, is to be surrounded by your friends and loved ones, either at someone’s house, or at the cottage, (with copious amount of booze). But hey that’s just me. OR better yet getting the hey outta here. Of course that takes some planning well in advance, something I seem to be deficient in. My New Years resolution….To plan new year’s eve 2010 in advance. (a crazy trip somewhere, crazy). Crazy.

I dropped my phone in the bath tub the other day, and it died. Funny thing is I never take baths. Mind you I shouldn’t be texting and such while relaxing in hot water, but y’know. I didn’t realized how much a new phone would be. Silly thing really. Lesson learned. I told myself that was the final thing of the year 2008 to wrong for me. Of course it had to be squeezed into the very last week of the year.

2009 WILL be a better year for me. It has no choice, because I am not giving it one.

Eagles of Death Metal

I sort of really like the band Eagles of Death Metal as of late. They are fun and I need some fun, who doesn’t really? They consist of Jesse Hughes (vocals and guitar), and Josh Hommes, on drums. Joshy is also the frontman for Queens of the Stone Age, in case you weren’t aware.

“Hughes cites Homme with saving his life, claiming that during the recording of the second Eagles of Death Metal album Death By Sexy, he fell into serious drug addiction and that Homme not only drove him to rehab, but paid for it as well.”

4:13 dream

I just found out that the Cure put out a new album…a NEW album, the freaken CURE! My all time favourite, and I didn’t know about it till right now, 1:11 a.m. December 12, 2008.

That CD will be in my car by noon today. I’ll let you know. I’m crossing my fingers for something great. I refuse to read any review prior, because I can be easily tainted sometimes. I wouldn’t do that to them, they deserve more.

take a sad song and make it better

I just popped a Tylenol 3 for my wretched cramps, and as I lay here, I will compile a list of the songs that make me the saddest. They don’t necessary have to make everyone feel sad, but for whatever reason I may have, whether it reminds me of people from my past, or certain situations, it’s the feeling I get. I’m actually in a very cheerful mood today, so I think this is the perfect time to make my list.
